Presenter Registration

First, we would like to say thank you so much for agreeing to share your Best Practices with our regional Summer Institutes 2014. The success of this event is largely dependent on those of you serving in this capacity in order to support our district and charter leadership teams. The goal of Summer Institutes 2014 is to provide educators across the state with meaningful professional development that will take them to the next level in the implementation of statewide educational initiatives. Please use the registration link below to assist you in navigating your two days with us. Presenters should register as a "trainer".

*Volunteers and Presenters do not need to book their own hotel room. Once registration is closed, hotel accommodations will be made

by NCDPI for those who indicate they would need lodging.



Arriving at the school

Where should I park?

Do I need to register?

Please register in the lobby of the auditorium. Registration location can be found on the Facility Maps page.

What will I need?

Rooms will be equipped with a VGA projector, but presenters need to bring their own laptop computer, speakers, and adapter cables if needed for Mac devices or Chrome Books.

When should I arrive to set-up?

The school will be open at 7:00 am. Implementation Innovation session 1 begins at 9:15 am, ends at 10:30 am. Implementation Innovation session 2 begins at 10:45. If you are presenting at 10:45 am, you may set-up at 10:30 am.
